The Carentan Liberty Group organizes the Carentan Liberty March during the Landing Festivities, a historic march in the footsteps of the paratroopers. On the 12 to 18 km route, walkers in period costume discover the history of the parachutists through explanations or dioramas of reconstitution. The walk ends with the entry into Carentan to the applause of the crowd.
