On Saturday June 8 in Carentan, in the Salle du Haut-Dick, don’t miss the BAL DE LA LIBERATION organized by the Carentan Liberty Group!
3 choice bands will bring the atmosphere of the Liberation to life:
- The 18-strong Ouistreham Jazz Band, with a swinging repertoire.
- The Bul Mazette, a French guinguette repertoire.
- The American band of the 101st Airborne, for an aperitif concert starting at 7:30pm.

Rencontres D-DAY
On Thursday April 4, 2024, the town of Carentan-les-Marais hosted one of the Rencontres D-DAY organized by France Bleu Cotentin.
It was an intergenerational evening, rich in moving testimonials. Among them, never-before-published stories told for the first time to the general public!
After this highlight, it was time for debate over a drink organized by the Sainte Mère Eglise brewery!
